HJC i70 ELIM MC4HSF Helmet Review
HJC #1 in the world in my opinion they can be. If you can offer so much value for the money of the buyers I'm sure you will be number one in no time.
PROS The ELIM lid is made out of advance polycarbonate composite APC shell that assures rigidity while maintaining lightness. It only weights 1500 grams for its medium size. This is light in my opinion considering it is equipped with dual visors. The sport-touring design gives you the flexibility to use it in high speeds and long rides. You can rest easy knowing that you are safe due to the 4 out of 5 stars rating by SHARP (Safety Helmet Assessment and Rating Programme) which is a British standard.
One thing that I liked is the wide visor that has been treated with anti-scratch treatment. It increase visibility and add comfort due to lesser neck movement. There are 5 Level de-tense settings for the clear visor. You can set it depending on your riding style. As for me I want it level 2 down so that my eyes are protected but still having some fresh air flowing freely to my face. The center latch locking mechanism seals your head in to minimize noise. It is equipped with Rapid Fire Shield replacement System which allows you to remove the visor without any tools. This is very useful for emergencies and ease of use.
The HCJ i70 for me has one of the best ventilation and air extraction system compared to other helmets that I used before. It has 5 chin vents where air flows from chin towards your head then 2 top vents to sweeten the deal plus 2 Exhaust vents on the rear to remove those hot air inside. This will make sure you have a cool head while driving and the moisture-wicking interior keeps you comfy.
Wearing a prescription glasses or deciding to go in style with your own sun glasses proves difficult with other helmets. Not on this baby, there are grooves built in to accommodate weather its your sunnies or prescription glasses. This helmet is equipped with micro-buckle strap which is adjustable and easy to use and finally it is PINLOCK ready for your anti-fog lens ready visor and it comes with FREE Anti-fog lens.
CONS
This is more of a wish really than cons because of its price range.
I wish it has double D ring straps and Emergency Quick Release System.
My Rating: 4/5
Safety 4/5 4 Star Sharp rating
Helmet Noise 4/5 Chin curtain, center latch locking mechanism
Ventilation 4/5 7 vents in total
Visor/Sunvisor 4/5 built in sun visor , sun glasses groove
Comfort 4/5 I forgot I was wearing a helmet
Looks 4/5 HJC the brand is already a head turner
Verdict: I recommend this to anyone who uses a motorcycle. P9700 in PH it is very reasonable and worth the money. Now if you have a thicker wallet, you may want to check out the RPHA Series.
